Bet.co.za is a South African online sports betting and casino platform operated by Betcoza Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, founded in 2010 and majority owned by Tsogo Sun Gaming since 2020. It covers sports betting across football, rugby, cricket and other markets alongside a casino-style games section. It is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling & Racing Board for its bookmaking activities.
Founded: 2010
Operating company: Betcoza Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bet.co.za, registration number 2010/005430/07; majority-acquired by Tsogo Sun Gaming in 2020
Bet.co.za's main sign-up offer is sports-only and not usable on casino games; the offer above is the closest genuine casino-specific promotion found instead.
Status: Claimed (sourced, not independently confirmed). Bonus offers change often and must be confirmed on the operator's own terms page before claiming, last checked 2026-08-25.
Deposit and withdrawal options for Bet.co.za are not yet verified. See our South African payment methods guide for how each rail generally works.
No dedicated mobile app has been found; the mobile site is used instead. The site works on mobile browsers. Multiple independent third-party sources describe Bet.co.za as having no native Android or iOS app (not on Google Play, the App Store, or as an APK); instead it runs as a responsive mobile site that can be added to a phone home screen. Could not confirm directly on the operator's own site, which returned no substantive content to direct fetch.
Licensed by the Western Cape Gambling & Racing Board (matches existing project data). A search-aggregated source also named a Mpumalanga Economic Regulator licence (9-2-1-09853) and a Western Cape bookmaker licence number (10145732-010) attributed to Betcoza Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, but these numbers came only from third-party review/affiliate aggregator summaries, not from bet.co.za's own site or the WCGRB's own licence-holder listing (which I fetched directly and which lists company names, not licence numbers, and did not show 'Bet.co.za' or 'Betcoza Online' by name in the visible content). Left licence_number null rather than repeat an unverified figure. South Africa currently has no licence category for remote/interactive casino games specifically; provincial licences cover sports betting/bookmaking only.
Offshore licensing authority: Not applicable / not yet verified.
