Gbets is a sportsbook first, with a casino section covering slots, live dealer tables, crash games, BetGames and Lucky Numbers. It is run by Dymanex (Pty) Ltd under a Western Cape bookmaker licence, and the terms are detailed. The welcome offer is 50 free spins and a R50 free bet, with slot match bonuses behind it, but the bonuses are short-lived and capped, and the site quotes two different licence numbers.

Everything on this page was read on Gbets' own website on 9 October 2026, mainly its general terms and conditions, the welcome offer terms, the live games page and the contact page. The banking page and slots hub load as images or empty menus for us, so we could not read payment method names or the slot provider list, and we have not opened an account, deposited or withdrawn.
Gbets runs under the slogan "Get Your Game On" and is built around sports betting: football, rugby, cricket, tennis and basketball, with features such as Super Bet boosted odds, Follow My Team and Cash Out. Alongside that, the menu lists Slots Hub, Live Games, Crash Games, BetGames TV, Lucky Numbers, E-Sports, Keno and Virtual Sports.
That makes it a better fit for a player who wants one account for betting and casino play than for someone who wants a casino-only experience. The site also has a store locator, which points to a physical presence.
One thing we noticed: the Gbets terms list the same Roodepoort physical address and the same phone number, 077 098 4222, that Goldrush shows on its own site, and the Gbets promotions page carries a Goldrush Ruimsig golf promotion. We cannot say what the relationship is, because neither site spells it out, but the overlap is public on both.
The welcome promotion is called the Welcome Journey. New customers who register, complete account verification and meet the qualifying criteria receive 50 free spins on Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play and a R50 free bet. The key conditions are in the table.
| Item | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Free spins | 50 on Gates of Olympus; must be used within 5 days of being credited |
| Free bet | R50 granted on sign-up |
| Minimum deposit | R25 required before any winnings can be withdrawn |
| Deposit match | First deposit matched 100% up to R5,000, slots only |
| Match cap | Each deposit match offer is capped at R5,000; up to R16,000 in total slot bonuses |
| Wagering | Up to 30x on all bonus amounts |
| Bonus validity | 5 days after being issued |
| Maximum winnings | Limited to the bonus amount issued |
| Eligibility | New customers, aged 18 or over, resident in South Africa; one account per person |
Read the last two limits twice. A maximum win capped at the bonus amount means a R1,000 slot bonus can turn into no more than R1,000 withdrawable from that bonus, however well the spins go. And five days is a short window to meet a wagering requirement of up to 30 times.
The terms also say Gbets can change, suspend or cancel the Welcome Journey at any time without notice, and that you must complete each step to move to the next. The wording is slightly loose in places (the R50 free bet is listed twice, and the figure "up to R16,000" is not broken down by deposit), so confirm the exact amounts in your account before you deposit.
The promotions page leads with a weekly cashback of up to 10%. Most of the other offers are sports-focused: a multi soccer bonus, 2 Up early payout, MultiBet bundles, a cricket multi-leg promotion, a 3-Goal Shield, an NBA promotion and a 7 Leg Saver. The live games page adds that casino promotions and tournaments run from time to time, so keep an eye on the promotions page for live dealer offers.
The live games page features several Creedroomz tables and lists games across four families. Blackjack includes Creedroomz Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, First Person Blackjack and Speed Blackjack. Roulette includes Creedroomz Roulette, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Instant Roulette Live and First Person Roulette. Poker and card games include Bet on Poker, Creedroomz Poker, 2 Hand Casino Hold'em and Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker. Baccarat options are Creedroomz Baccarat, Baccarat Super 6 and Creedroomz Sic Bo.
Outside live games, the site has a Slots Hub, Crash Games (with a separate Blast link), BetGames TV, Keno, Virtual Sports and Lucky Numbers, which is betting on lotto draws. The welcome offer points to Pragmatic Play slots. We could not read the slots hub or the provider list, so we cannot say how many slots there are or which other studios are included.
The terms publish payout limits that apply per game family: R2 million each for table games, slots, crash games, BetGames and sport, and R5 million for Lucky Numbers. That is a useful ceiling to know if you play progressive or high-multiplier titles.
The banking page names vouchers as a way to top up your account and tells you where to buy them, but the method names did not load as text for us, so we cannot list the cards, EFT options or voucher brands. The terms confirm cards and electronic bank transfers, and say credit card deposits can only be made by the cardholder, in the name on the account.
The withdrawal rules are clear. The minimum withdrawal is R50. EFT withdrawals are paid only to the same account that the deposit came from, in the registered account holder's name. Once Gbets confirms the funds are available, the terms say it will instruct the transfer within 24 hours, which is not the same as the money arriving in your account. Gbets does not allow non-South African addresses, contact details or bank accounts, and withdrawals to foreign bank accounts are not processed.
Several rules affect how you play. A deposit must be turned over at least once before you can withdraw it, and the turnover only counts bets at odds of 1.5 or higher. Deposits of R10,000 or more require verified proof that they came from your own account. Gbets may also ask you to disclose your source of income, and can suspend an account that does not.
Gbets follows FICA. Registration asks for your full name, South African ID or passport number, mobile number and source of funds. It may then request a valid ID, proof of address and proof of your banking details, which must be no older than three months. An account that has not met FICA requirements can be suspended.
The inactivity clause deserves attention. If there is no user-initiated activity for a continuous 12 months, Gbets reserves the right to reset the balance to zero without notice. The account holder must then contact live chat to ask for the original balance back. Treat that as a reason to withdraw anything you do not plan to use.
The contact page lists live chat, available 24 hours a day, email, and a phone line, 010 634 3855, also open 24 hours. The welcome offer terms give a different Cape Town number, 021 023 3634, and the complaints section of the main terms gives 077 098 4222. Use the live chat first, since that is the number-free option the site stresses.
For complaints, the terms set out a step-by-step process through email, phone or live chat. If Gbets cannot resolve the matter, you can take it to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
The footer says Gbets is operated by Dymanex (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2012-121-966-07, and licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board. The licence number shown in the footer is 10179096-014. The general terms, however, give a different number, 10195528-001. We cannot tell you which is current, and a site should not publish two. If the number matters to you, you can ask the board directly, since the terms say it handles disputes.
The licence is a bookmaker licence. It covers fixed-odds betting, and South Africa has no licence category for online casino games, so Gbets' slots and live tables sit in the same grey area as the rest of the market. The physical premises licence address is in Cape Town. Our casino methodology page explains how we treat this.
The terms offer self-exclusion for a minimum of six months. You complete a form from either the operator or a provincial gambling board, and your details go onto the self-exclusion register. It cannot be reversed once requested, and an upliftment request is only considered after six months and proof that you have attended counselling sessions with an NRGP treatment professional. There is also a time-out page, although its terms did not load for us.
Every page carries the National Responsible Gambling Programme number, 0800 006 008, and a WhatsApp help line, 076 675 0710. We found no mention of deposit limits or reality checks in the pages we could read.
Gbets makes the most sense for a bettor who wants a sportsbook and some casino games on one South African licence. The live dealer menu is decent and the published payout limits help you plan. The weak points are small print: bonuses that expire in five days and cannot pay out more than their own value, a balance reset after a year of silence, and a licence number that does not match across the site. Treat the welcome offer as a trial and take your balance out when you finish.
