Everything on this page was read on Supabets' own website on 9 October 2026, including its FAQs, FICA, responsible gaming, app download and footer pages. The bonus terms and the individual terms and conditions documents did not load as readable text for us, so the deposit bonus details are not covered, and we have not opened an account, deposited or withdrawn.
Supabets runs betting shops across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, which its FAQ lists by address. Online it has two sides: a sports product with more than 1,300 markets and, according to the FAQ, 50,000-plus pre-match and 15,000-plus live events, and Play Vegas, its casino area.
It is not a casino-only site. If your main interest is slots and live dealer tables, you will find them, but the sports betting product is clearly the centre of the brand. That said, the combined account works well for people who bet on football and play a few casino rounds on the side.
The FAQ describes a Welcome Bundle for signing up. It lists three things: a R50 free bet credited before you deposit, 100 free spins on two selected Habanero games, and up to R5,000 in deposit bonuses across your first three deposits. To use the bonus, you open Balance in your account and pick the bonus option when you place a bet.
The FAQ also calls the R50 free bet the biggest sign-up bonus in South Africa. That is a marketing claim we cannot test, and a free bet is a sports betting reward rather than a casino one, so the part that matters to casino players is the free spins and the deposit bonuses.
The page links to separate terms for the deposit bonuses, but those did not load as readable text for us. We therefore cannot tell you the wagering requirement, the game restrictions or how long the spins and bonuses last. Read the bonus terms in your account before you deposit.
The home page menu is built around Play Vegas, with sections for popular slots, popular crash games, live tables, popular live tables and top providers. The app page describes a range of table, slot and crash games, including Aviator and other quick, data-saving games, and live tables with a real dealer in real time. The how-to pages also point to a Supanumbers section for lottery-style betting and a separate Virtual Terms document.
We could not read the full provider list or a game count, because the lobby is loaded dynamically. The only studio named in the welcome terms we could read is Habanero. For a clear picture of the catalogue, browse the Play Vegas tab after you register.
The FAQ describes deposits through vouchers: Supabets, OTT, 1Voucher, Blu and Kazang. You can buy these in a Supabets store or from selected retailers. To top up, you log in, choose Deposit, pick the voucher option, enter the number or PIN and press Redeem. The site also links to video guides.
That is a practical route for anyone who prefers not to link a card or bank account to a gambling site. The FAQ page we read did not list card or instant EFT deposit methods, and the terms document list shows a separate cryptocurrency payment terms page, so other methods may be available inside the cashier. We could not confirm minimum deposits.
Withdrawals are where Supabets gives the most detail. There are three routes: cardless OTP, a 1ForYou voucher and EFT. Cardless OTP covers FNB eWallet, Standard Bank Instant Money and Supabets OTP. The limits are in the table.
| Method | Daily limit | Monthly limit | Stated timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| FNB eWallet | R2,500 | R25,000 | Estimated 30 to 60 minutes |
| Standard Bank Instant Money | R5,000 | R25,000 | Estimated 30 to 60 minutes |
| Supabets OTP | Not stated | R25,000 | Not stated |
| 1ForYou voucher | Not stated | Not stated | Reviewed and processed after you submit |
| EFT | Not stated | Not stated | 1 to 3 working days |
The FAQ adds that all withdrawals go through an audit and that payouts are processed within 24 hours. It also notes that e-wallet times vary with the payment provider and verification. These are Supabets' own estimates and we have not timed a payout.
The monthly limit of R25,000 is the figure to remember. If you win a large amount, it can take more than one month to withdraw by e-wallet, so ask support whether larger EFT payments are possible before you rely on a big win.
For e-wallet withdrawals your cell number is the only point of contact, because the PIN and password go to it. Make sure the number on the account is current before you request a payout.
You register with a username, ID or passport number, name, phone number, email and password, then confirm with a one-time PIN sent by SMS. You must complete FICA before your first withdrawal by sending a copy of your ID or passport and proof of residence by email or WhatsApp on 060 017 6911.
Two of the pages we read describe the documents slightly differently. The FAQ asks for ID plus proof of residence no older than three months, while the FICA page asks for ID plus a recent bank statement, and the withdrawal section mentions a certified copy of your ID or a passport, visa, permit or asylum seeker permit. The FICA page also says the proof of residence must show your full name, full address with street number and suburb, and a date within three months. To avoid delays, send a recent digital bank statement showing your address, which meets both versions.
Supabets has an app for Android and iOS. Android users download an APK directly from the site, because the page says real-money gambling apps are not allowed on the Google Play Store, and may need to allow installs from unknown sources. The iOS app is on the Apple App Store, and a Huawei AppGallery version is marked as coming soon. The app page lists sports betting, Play Vegas games including Aviator, live tables, cash out and a 24/7 contact centre.
The Help Centre offers email, with a typical response time of five minutes, a phone line described as immediate, and a callback service with a 24-hour response. There is also a live support option on the site and a WhatsApp number for documents. The app page says the contact centre is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We could not read the phone number from the pages available, so use the contact options inside the site.
The footer says Supabets is regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator under licence number 9-2-1-00055, and the legal line names Portapa 2 (Pty) Ltd t/a Supabets, trading under the Supabets Gaming Group. The site links to the Mpumalanga gambling rules and regulations, a bookmaker licence document and its responsible gambling and exclusion policy.
That is a South African licence and a named operator, which is more reassuring than an offshore site with no company details. The licence is a bookmaker licence, and South Africa has no category for online casino games, so Play Vegas sits in the same grey area as the rest of the market. See our casino methodology page for how we handle this.
Supabets says it has technology that monitors betting behaviour, trains staff to spot signs of problem gambling and runs the Challenge 21 programme at its branches. Players who want a break can email support and ask for the account to be disabled for a period they choose, and the account can be used again once that time is up. A self-exclusion document is also linked.
The page lists the National Responsible Gambling Programme (toll free 0800 006 008) and Gamblers Anonymous contacts for Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape. We did not find deposit limits, loss limits or reality checks.
Supabets is a solid all-rounder for South African players who bet on sport and play some casino games, and who like paying with vouchers or collecting winnings through an e-wallet. The licence details are clear, the withdrawal rules are written out and the app covers both main phone platforms. The limits to plan around are the R25,000 monthly e-wallet cap and bonus terms we could not see. Read the bonus conditions in your account before you claim, and send your FICA documents early so that your first withdrawal is not delayed.
